Friday Night Luminaries - Mission

JT: Ethan and Taylor. Wow, even their names sound glamorous. Dolled up to have a nice friday night dinner at Farina in the mission, and dolled up right. This is what the term, "a modicum of decorum" means. Wear quality garments that fit your body and are appropriate for the occasion. It's easy to learn, takes a lifetime to master. These two are jedi masters of Fabulous.

I think Bunny would agree with me, the ideal SF look is being well dressed without conceit or extravagance or frivolity. LA has all that hollywood indulgence and flashiness, New York has the manhattan pride and hubris, let us not follow in their wake. People like these two are the vanguard of SF style.

Both Ethan and Taylor have carefully selected and well-fitting ensembles, but the details are what really pushes them above and beyond. They cover the fashion priorities:

1. Both are groomed and have well-maintained coiffures.

2. Both have extraordinarily covetable footwear. 

3. The accessories are outstanding. 

4. Bonus: their outfits are coordinated. 

His watch and her purse are legendary artifacts, but I can't appraise them because I didn't spend a long enough time analyzing them. I didn't want to disturb their lovely evening out. I was already getting the stink eye from some of the other staff/patrons for whipping out the flash. See how hard I work for SFstyle's faithful followers? Anytime, anywhere, (within the seven by seven) I am always in pursuit of SF's finest.

BUNNY: Ethan and Taylor are indeed rare exhibits. A well dressed couple can be hard to come by. Two well dressed patrons that not only run the gamut of San Francisco with savvy and style, but they do it as a team. Taylor’s hair is a gift from the gods. It’s automatic pizzazz; she never leaves home with out it. Ladies, if you don’t already have a hot black dress suited for your body, this should inspire your next hunt. Mixed textures and materials can give your little black dress the pop we here at SF Style are looking for.

Fellas, how handsome does Ethan look in his combination? I actually think I prefer a dress shirt and tie under a sweater and jacket. The sweater is not casual but I think it makes a man feel more relaxed. I see suits all the time in the financial district, sitting during their lunch breaks with their ties somehow tucked into their shirts as to avoid a spill on said tie. I know you guys are just protecting yourselves but think of it this way, if you’re a slob, you have a second change if you’re wearing a sweater.

Now that I’ve completely derailed from Ethan’s outfit, onto the slobs of the financial district, I’ll get back on track. Check out his shoes!! I feel for you dudes, guys shoes can be so plain, boring and conservative. Ethan’s shoes are probably my favorite part of his outfit. The slightly pointed toe goes well with his fitted dark denim.
