Tamale Wednesday - Civic Center

JT: Tamale wednesdays are the best. There are many farmers markets going on in the city, and you can find some tasty treats and cool buys if you look hard enough. Also, living in the city sometimes means you don't own a car, and that means that going to a supermarket can be an expedición. A farmers market near you may be a viable option for getting fresh produce.

Bunny is looking even cuter than usual in this photo, and it is a pleasant reminder of why she's our resident style guru. Always versatile, her look spans many varieties and eras, and I love the 1960's redux with a contemporary execution. Just when I think I got her number, she switches an octave, and everything is topsy-turvy. I followed this bunny down the rabbit hole and I've been living in wonderland ever since.<3

Here is une photo of Sylvie Vartan, 1960's french chanteuse whose song I posted about in this recent entry.

It's a great example of how Bunny's outfit conveys that smart and eternal 1960's mod look, which is always a good idea. Something about girls in stockings and the contrast of some version of mary jane shoes is just irresistible. It's like the power of a man in a well tailored suit. The visual stimulates a concept ingrained in our not-so-subconscious minds of what SEXY is. I've also posted a youtube clip of the Sylvie singing the aforementioned song. enjoy!
