JT Paradox: We have observed various fashionable individuals around town sporting some seriously decadent timepieces. These items do add a bit of intrigue to any outfit. I have personally noticed that not everyone who is RAD has one of these relics, but certainly everyone who has one has been RAD. If someone has the kind of sensibility that would appreciate a vintage metallic watch, chances are, they will make for charming company.
Indiglo is a RAD and useful feature. You never know if you need to see what time it is in a dark place. Zach--merrymaking gentleman of leisure--shows us how to lighten things up.
Bri--SFStyle alum--was spotted with one.
Dana--another SFStyle alumnist--has had hers since at least her first appearance on SFS in September of 2008!
Here's a variety of examples of what we are talking about. Gotta catch em all!
One watch to rule them ALL.
Dyanna Pure: Developed in the 1970s and popularized in the 80s, the metallic digital watch has truly stood the test of time. If you manage to get your hands on one of these vintage timepieces, we recommend that you hang on to it. We occasionally spot newer models in hipster havens like Urban Outfitters, but their chintzy knockoffs rarely live up to the craftsmanship of the originals. They are also generally devoid of the RAD features that catapulted their predecessors to such iconic heights--such as built-in calculators, televisions, indiglo lighting, video games, thermometers, and multi-dimensional translators.

i totally have been sporting three of those casio watches for like 6 years now. i wear my vintage silver calculator watch most often...you know, for calculations on the go.
I've been rocking my gold casio ladies watch on and off since '07. Really I just love digital watches and can't find many good looking ones. They all look like g-shocks. ICK!
I've had my gold casio ladies watch for a couple years now and love it. I just love digital watches and can't find any that DON'T look like g-shocks...
Also, Saks was selling new versions of the classic for a mere $250!
