JT Paradox: This is fellow blogger, Catie of Cuffington. She and I made a clandestine rendezvous at the Edinburgh Castle so I could bestow her prise upon her. This goes to show that you should always enter our giveaways. Catie won and just stuffed a bottle of booze the size of a large grapefuit into her purse.
Catie's style is pristine. So very Blair and the sailor moon mean girls on the steps of the Met, or Emma Pilsbury of Glee--and who says preppy can't look sexy? We are just glad designers like Kate Spade are introducing beautiful preppy/mod styles as opposed to the boring fashions that are so prevalent now. Dyanna and I love to photograph morsels with this sort of style--but SF is inundated with grungy hipsters and gelled-hair bros. So when a preppy styled person appears--hallelujah.
Also--I would like to address how lovely and slender and tall drink of water Catie is. It really makes her outfit photograph well. This is why models are expected to be so thin and tall. Speaking purely objectively, a body that is long and lean is a better frame for the purpose of displaying clothes. So the modeling industry does what it does--but sometimes, they take it too far. Take a gander at this atrocity committed by Ralph Lauren's Adverting staff. I feel very strongly about these types of issues, because they are the root of many evils. I cannot condone such egregious acts of villainy--unless I'm the one doing them.

there is a fine line between thin and starving yourself so that even your bones seem to get smaller. blegh. anyways, love her outfit. it's true, it is getting harder and harder to keep the mods alive : (

Hey, if you knew Catie you'd know that she has always been a slender, beautiful,"tall drink of water" at 6'2". And by the way, one of the best eaters I've ever known! :)
