Sidlab Hair Couture - Product Giveaway

Dyanna Pure: For several years my Mom’s been emailing me articles about the harmful effects of sodium laureth sulfate and paraben—two common ingredients found in beauty products. But it wasn’t until our friends at Sidlab Hair Couture confirmed her facts that I started to take her concerns seriously.

Sidlab is dedicated to making healthy, Earth friendly hair care products for the next generation of fashion forward stylists. Their commitment to fighting breast cancer is apparent on all of their bottles and their line boasts to be 100% sodium laureth sulfate and paraben-free. As an added bonus--Sidlab products are water soluble, never tested on cute fluffy animals and always recyclable.

Usually when a company tries to go green, certain ingredients get lost in translation and the products end up being ineffective. But this wasn’t the case with Sidlab. They sent me several hair products to test out—all of which I found to be just as effective as my old (cancer causing) products.

My top picks from the Sidlab line are:
  1. Delicate Shampoo: Extra mild cleanser for dry hair. Contains a blend of luxurious ingredients including milk silk protein, mega-moisture complex and essential oils. (8 oz, $25)
  2. Silk Conditioner: This moisture rich conditioner adds just the right amount of winter protection, without leaving hair too heavy or greasy. (8 oz, $24)
  3. Glacial Clay Texturizer: Made from natural, mineral-rich Canadian clay. JT isn’t a fan of the earthy scent, but I rather like it. A little goes a long way with this product and one 2 oz jar can last you several months. (2 oz, $24)
  4. Chichi Firm Hold Spray: Provides great invisible hold without becoming clumpy or sticky. (7 oz, $28)

If you'd like to win any of my top picks, leave us a comment (either here or on Facebook) or shoot us an email at DyannaPure@gmail.com telling us which product you'd like to receive and why. The contest closes in 10 days and 3 winners will be chosen.

One grand prize winner will receive all four products, one winner will receive both styling products, and one winner will receive the shampoo and conditioner. Good luck! <3

As a stylist I always love to hear about new products, I'll have to check this stuff out! Thanks for sharing! I try to use all natural products with No SLS and P's.

I'd love to try the delicate shampoo. My bf and I have been trying various non-sls shampoos and have yet to find one that we both like. Thanks for sharing!

I'd also like to try the shampoo and conditioners: The necessities are always good. The hold spray also sounds like something I'd like to try. One of the reasons why I don't like to style my hair is because of that clumpy and sticky feeling of the products.

I'd love to try the conditioner (and shampoo too!). My hair has been sad and hard to manage since it started getting cold in SF, so I'm looking for a conditioner that can moisturize without weighing it down. I also have the luck of being allergic to Paraben, so it's difficult to find great hair care that doesn't make my skin yell at me.

I'd like to get either the texturizer or the hold spray as a Christmas gift for my brother. He styles hair as a living but has been struggling with some health problems and financial issues, so he's losing his customers and can't enjoy pursuing his talents as before. He's slowing getting back on track, and these hair products can contribute to his comeback and bring back his costumers, revive his career, and boost his confidence.
