Merry Christmas - San Jose

Dyanna Pure: We took Caltrain down to San Jose to celebrate Christmas with JT's relatives. It was a long ride, made even longer thanks to a Yuletide suicide on the tracks. Fortunately JT was around to delight me with his clever puns:

"Had a train to catch!"
"Stopped dead in his tracks!"

Death gives me the giggles.

The FIVE course spread was delicious!

The Chinese restaurant his (Vietnamese) Mom and Dad took us to was PACKED. JT is always quick to point out when I am the only white person in the room.

JT's sister owns a wine company in Mountain View. We made out with two bottles of Spanish sangria and a delicious bottle of Lambrusco (AKA yummy wine for people who don't drink wine).

JT's brother doesn't normally look like such a hobo.

De-shelling shrimps is a terribly gratifying occupation. NOM.

JT's mom gave me this sweater and shirt for Christmas. It was pretty savvy of her to realize that would need something warm and modest to wear underneath the turtleneck. It seemed only fitting to wear the frock to dinner.

I don't think this crab is having quite the Merry Christmas that we are.

xoxo
