People ask us all the time--which city do we like better: San Francisco or New York? The answer is, it depends on what specific aspect you're asking about. What we can tell you, are the differences we have come to notice--which can help you decide for yourself.
Today's effervescent morsel was photographed on one of those sunny San Francisco Mission District days. That's one of the big differences between SF and NY--the weather. NY has the 4 classic seasons, with extremely hot summers and extremely chilly winters--as opposed to SF's almost year-round relatively steady climate. NY's weather is usually consistent in any of it's neighborhoods and boroughs--but SF's hills create little microclimates, causing temperature and wind variations in almost every one of it's different neighborhoods. San Francisco's Mission District is often warmer than the rest of the city.

"California...knows how to party."
