One of the main differences we've noted over and over between New York fashion and San Francisco fashion is the drastic disparity in climate. You can just feel the warmth and heat from Dyanna's New York summer fashion photos. In my San Francisco summer fashion photos, you'll see people wearing sweaters, jackets, even scarves! Especially shots taken closer to the Sunset/Richmond district. That afternoon/evening fog starts to roll in, and that's how you spot the locals from the vacationers--natives have carried jackets and coats with them all day. Only in SF could you need ladies and mens coats in July! I've got a trench getting tailored as we speak.
In the meantime, today's post features one of my classic summer/spring jackets--it's a Ben Sherman gingham sport jacket. Very lightweight, and surprisingly versatile. I'm wearing it over a basic H&M dress shirt, which fit me off the rack! My jeans are one of the few classic Diesel jeans that aren't ostentatiously bedazzled with dragons and zippers.
Pertaining to my pink shirt, I think Jude Law said it best in the film, ALFIE: "I know what you're thinking. But if you ooze masculinity as some of us do, you've no need to fear pink."
Dyanna and I don't often post our personal style very often since (SFS) Street Fashion Style is more about focusing on YOUR glorious street fashion. We make exceptions from time to time--and today is one of those days. I've been eating healthier and have slimmed down enough to properly squeeze into the RIB-CRUSHING fit of my best wardrobe pieces, so let me indulge in a little braggadocio. Thanks, luvs.
